apparently, when my identity was stolen and the guy opened up “Barger’s Dog Service”, a bad check was floated to wal-mart in wake county. i’ve had at least 3 background checks for work done since then…with this never coming up. so when I was denied a clearance at work due to it, i was pretty surprised… most of my morning has been spent in the wake county courthouse where i was also able to be a witness to a wedding. there was a lot of “go upstairs to this room”…”now go to ths floor” “oh you need to talk to so-and-so”, etc. i felt like i was in a Kafka story. but, in the end, the case was dismissed, wal-mart is out a couple hundred bucks and Alex and Mia make a lovely couple
